Who's your Favorite Dog?

My favorite dog growing up on the MS Gulf Coast was a Boxer named Buster. He was always happy, high-spirited, playful and energetic. He was very intelligent, but at times was stubborn and sneaky! He was brave and a good watchdog for our family. However, he would not harm a soul.

He bonded with every member of the family, but especially me.

He was always acting like a "clown" and could easily get into trouble if left alone.

  • You should always ask a dog's owner if you may pet the dog!
  • The most critical period in a pup's life is the first week?
  • A male pup neutered before 6 months will likely not "mark" his territory inside the house and will probably not hike his leg at all?
  • There is a statistical advantage for females spayed before they come in heat for the first time, as regards to the possibility of developing mammary cancer later in life?

Treating Acute Diarrhea And Chronic Diarrhea in Dogs
Dogs commonly develop acute diarrhea. Because we are all concerned about our dog's welfare, we often run them in to see the veterinarian at the first signs of diarrhea. This is usually not necessary, and often will end up being detrimental to the dog if antibiotics are needlessly prescribed. Chronic diarrhea is less common, but is more serious and will require more effort to correct. . .<<MORE>>
